Cellular regeneration or cellular regeneration therapy is a treatment that specializes in the renewal of damaged, dysfunctional or inactivated cells, either due to disease or the aging process.
In other words, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), cell therapy is the administration of live somatic cells (CELLS THAT MAKE UP TISSUE GROWTH) to humans in order to prevent or treat a disease.

What is cell therapy for?

  • It is used for rejuvenation and anti-aging: stem cell therapy allows the formation of new collagen and elastin, providing volume to the area and rejuvenating the skin.
  • It is also very useful for osteoarthritis: the disease can affect any joint in the body.
Mesenchymal stem cell treatment allows regeneration of damaged cartilage, which reduces pain and inflammation.
  • Skin pathologies: some examples of these pathologies can be ulcers, non-healing wounds or fistulas.
Cellular restoration therapy is the solution to this common clinical problem.
  • Alopecia: through the formation of new blood vessels and hair follicles, it is possible to promote hair growth, strengthen hair and increase its density.
  • Traumatology: for example, applying cellular restoration therapy for joint repair that can accelerate the recovery process of sports injuries.

Cell therapy requires a multidisciplinary approach from immunology to cell biology, and its success depends on understanding the complexity of the interactions between individual cells and host organisms.
This being a treatment that consists of acquiring stem cells and reintroducing them into a patient with the aim of improving the body’s ability to regenerate damaged or diseased cells.
